I was lucky enough to be introduced to yoga as a teen around 20 years ago and I’ve now been teaching for 10 years.
My Yoga study began in 2013 when I completed my 500hr teacher training at Byron Yoga Centre with John Ogilvie.
Since then I have gone on to do further courses and workshops with amazing teachers such as Judith Hanson Lasater, Ana Davis, Donna Farhi, Shiva Rea, Lucy Roberts, Simon Borg-Olivia, Gwyn Williams, Nicole Walsh and Jasson Salisbury.
I teach Hatha, Vinyasa, Restorative and pre and post natal yoga and have a very special interest in prenatal yoga. I love working with mums to help improve their pregnancy and birthing experience and see them entering motherhood with a solid trust in their intuition and confidence in themselves.
My teaching techniques have a strong focus on safety and alignment and I believe yoga should be practiced joyfully, bringing this lighthearted approach to my classes.
Yoga teaches us to listen to our bodies and brings with that the desire to treat it with love and respect. My intention is for my students to develop this positive, nurturing communication within.
This is the basis for my health coaching sessions that if we can start with this positive communication from within then making better nutrition and lifestyle choices becomes much easier.
I look forward to connecting with you.
